Production and Filming
GMA Network announced the series in January 2018, adapting the 1983 Philippine film Sanggang Dikit. In January 2020, the network confirmed the project with Andrea Torres and Derek Ramsay set as lead actors. Production was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The breakup of Torres and Ramsay in November 2020 further complicated the series' progress, raising uncertainties. By March 2021, the project was shelved.
Production began in early 2025, with principal photography taking place in Manila as well as select international locations in Europe and the Middle East—marking one of GMA’s most ambitious shoots to date. The choice of exotic backdrops underscores the series’ global stakes, while local shoot locations enhance its Filipino identity.
