Frequently asked questions

How does the resume checker score my resume?

It reads your resume PDF and the job posting, then scores five things recruiters and ATS software actually weigh: skills match, experience relevance, ATS keyword coverage, quantified impact, and formatting. Those combine into one overall match score out of 100, with specific fixes for each.

The job link from Indeed or LinkedIn won't load — what do I do?

Some job boards (Indeed and LinkedIn especially) block automated reading or hide the posting behind a login. When that happens, switch to "Paste the description", copy the full job text from the posting, and paste it in. You get the exact same analysis.

Is my resume stored or shared?

No. Your resume is analyzed in the moment and never saved to our servers, never shown to anyone, and never used to train anything. When the analysis finishes, the file is gone.

Will this rewrite my resume for me?

It gives you tailored bullet rewrites, a suggested professional summary, and a prioritized fix list — all grounded in what your resume already says. It never invents jobs, titles, or numbers you didn't claim, so you stay honest while sounding sharper.

Do I need to pay or sign up?

No. The resume analyzer is completely free, with no account and no email required.
