About Boredlisted

Clarity instead of noise.

Boredlisted is an independent publication on technology, careers, and search — written by hand from Manila, built for people who are tired of recycled takes and AI-generated filler.

In short

Boredlisted is an independent publication about technology, careers, and search, founded and written by Denjie Garcia from Manila. It connects global shifts in AI, work, and business to a Filipino reality most major outlets ignore — prioritizing originality, evidence, and information gain over padding or templated AI output.

The why

Most of the internet sounds the same now.

The same recycled takes, the same AI-generated filler, the same articles that use a lot of words without telling you anything you can actually use. I built Boredlisted to be the opposite of that.

I'm Denjie, the founder and the person actually writing here. For more than two decades I've worked in web development and digital strategy, building my first websites as a high school student in the mid-2000s and never stopping since. I studied Computer Science and taught myself most of what came after: front-end and back-end development, WordPress, search engine optimization, and end-to-end content production. Early in my career I became the first person in my company's history to earn a perfect score on its technical skills assessment. More recently I worked as a Quality Analyst at an AI-powered SEO company, running weekly audits across technical SEO, content, local SEO, and onboarding. That work trained me to care about evidence, structure, and whether something actually holds up.

Boredlisted is where I put all of that to use.

What Boredlisted is about

Technology, careers, and search — written for real people.

This is a publication about technology, careers, and search, written for people who want clarity instead of noise. I cover how AI is reshaping work, how to build a career that survives the shift, and how the search ecosystem really behaves underneath the headlines.

A lot of tech and career content is written from a Silicon Valley point of view that quietly assumes everyone reading it lives there. I write from Manila, and that perspective is the whole point. When I dig into whether AI will really replace Philippine call centers, or how to future-proof your career against AI, or which AI-proof jobs are worth moving toward, I'm connecting global shifts in technology and business to a Filipino reality that most major outlets ignore. There is a large, sharp, underserved audience living at that intersection. Boredlisted is built for them, and for anyone else who wants the same honesty.

The coverage keeps expanding into business, personal finance, and Filipino culture, but the standard stays the same: every piece has to earn its place.

Why you can trust Boredlisted

Trust is the only currency that matters in a post-AI web

So here is exactly what it's built on.

Experience

This isn't a faceless content farm. It's one person with a real, verifiable track record across web development, SEO, and quality analysis, writing from hands-on work rather than a summary of someone else's article.

Expertise

I don't guess. I lean on the tools, the raw data, and the patterns I've spent years learning to read. When I break down something like the Google December 2025 core update, you get the specific signals and the recovery steps, not vague reassurance.

Authority

Authority here comes from depth and a point of view you won't find copied across ten other sites, not from borrowed credentials. I would rather be the definitive read on a narrow thing than a shallow take on everything.

Transparency

I cite my sources, show the reasoning, and tell you when something is an informed prediction versus a settled fact. If I get something wrong, I would rather fix it in the open than pretend it never happened.

“I try to leave you knowing something you didn't know before. No padding. No templated AI output. No walls of text that exist only to hit a word count.”
— Denjie Garcia, founder of Boredlisted
How I write

Originality and information gain, on purpose.

Every article is researched, structured, and written to give you something you can't easily get elsewhere. I prioritize originality and information gain, which is a longer way of saying I try to leave you knowing something you didn't know before. No padding. No templated AI output. No walls of text that exist only to hit a word count.

I also write like a human, on purpose, because most readers can feel when they're being handed a machine's first draft. The goal is simple: content that is genuinely useful and worth your time, the kind that builds a real relationship with readers and earns its standing with search engines as a side effect.
