Stephen King

Stephen Edwin King, born September 21, 1947, is a renowned American author known as the “King of Horror.” He has written over 200 novels, short stories, and nonfiction, primarily in horror but also in suspense, crime, science fiction, fantasy, and mystery.

His debut, 'Carrie' (1974), launched his horror career, while 'Different Seasons' (1982) marked a shift to versatile storytelling.

King’s works include iconic films like 'The Shining,' 'It,' and 'The Green Mile.' He has also published under pseudonyms like Richard Bachman and collaborated with authors such as Peter Straub and his sons, Joe Hill and Owen King.
